Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN)
The Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) program focuses on contemporary perspectives in functional nutrition that take a holistic approach to personalized nutrition and seeks to determine the root causes of the symptoms. The program produces compassionate, skillful, and creative practitioners who work collaboratively to support individuals through personalized plans that move people to health. Students entering the DCN program will receive advanced education in clinical nutrition to enhance their clinical skills, contribute to the current literature in the field through their clinical experience, and take leadership roles in this emerging field.
Upon completing this course, and your payment plan has been completed, you will be professionally recognized as a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN), a Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CHN), and a Certified Dietary Supplement Specialist (CDSS). You will be Board Certified by the American University of Holistic Sciences' Nutrition and Dietetics Certification and Accreditation Board, the American University of Holistic Sciences' Integrative and Functional Medicine Certification and Accreditation Board, and the American University of Holistic Sciences' Holistic Health and Wellness Certification and Accreditation Board.
